Agenda

용산은 국제적 입지와 교통 중심지로서의 강점을 가지고 있지만, 상징적이고 고급스러운 주거 공간이 부족하다. 그래서 커스터마이징, 아이코닉, 하이엔드의 가치를 결합하여 용산의 새로운 주거 복합시설을 제안하고자 한다.
거주자의 개성과 정체성을 반영할 수 있는 커스터마이징 가능한 구조를 목표로 한다. 정형화된 주거 방식에서 벗어나, 거주자가 자신의 필요와 취향에 따라 공간을 설계하고 변형할 수 있도록 유연한 구조를 도입했다. 라멘 구조를 활용해 기능적이면서도 고급스러운 공간 경험을 제공한다. 개별적인 주거 공간을 넘어, 이 공간은 도시와 상호작용하며 용산을 대표하는 아이코닉한 랜드마크로 자리 잡도록 계획되었다. 변화하는 도시적 맥락과 조화를 이루면서도 용산만의 정체성을 담아낼 수 있는 독창적인 공간 구성을 목표로 한다.
또한, 하이엔드 주거 공간의 개념을 재정의하며, 단순한 고급스러움이 아닌 거주자가 자신의 이야기를 담아낼 수 있는 공간으로 설계하고자 했다. 공간이 물리적 장소를 넘어, 개인의 정체성을 표현할 수 있는 도구가 될 수 있도록 다양한 가능성을 시사한다.

Yongsan boasts an international location and serves as a central transportation hub, yet it lacks symbolic and luxurious residential spaces. To address this, we propose a new residential complex that combines the values of customization, iconic design, and high-end living.
The project aims to create a customizable structure that reflects the individuality and identity of its residents. Moving beyond standardized residential models, we introduce a flexible framework that allows residents to design and transform their spaces according to their needs and preferences. By utilizing a frame (rahmen) structure, we offer a functional yet luxurious spatial experience. Beyond individual living spaces, this complex is designed to interact with the city and establish itself as an iconic landmark representing Yongsan. The goal is to create a distinctive spatial composition that harmonizes with the evolving urban context while capturing Yongsan’s unique identity.
Moreover, this project seeks to redefine the concept of high-end residential spaces, emphasizing not just luxury but also the ability for residents to infuse their personal stories into their living environments. By transforming space into a medium for self-expression, it offers diverse possibilities for residents to make the space their own. residential model.
